Ventoxx Company History
In the early 2000s, when energy saving in Ukraine was still gaining momentum and the most common investment in the housing market was replacing wooden windows with metal-plastic double-pane windows, two Kharkiv companions went to Germany for new ideas. The trip took place at the invitation of their acquaintance and future co-founder of Ventoxx LLC, a German engineer and a specialist in energy-efficient construction. At the world’s largest construction exhibition, BAUMA, the future directors of Ventoxx LLC were surprised by a large number of energy-saving solutions for buildings and the huge demand for them. Is it really possible to accomplish this in Ukraine? And if so, when will the demand and the corresponding market form?!
After returning to Ukraine, the companions immediately got down to business. One of them, an engineer and a technologist, developed a reverse-type decentralized heat recovery unit according to the old world-renowned principle. At first, it was decided to work with components manufactured in EU countries because Chinese products did not meet the quality requirements of most of the progressive Ukrainian population.
The other companion engaged in the preparation and launching of a new product on the market. At the same time, the main emphasis was on establishing a full cycle of production in Ukraine, job creation and implementation of European principles of work in our country.
Thus, the first ventilation device with heat recovery was born, the Ventoxx Comfort (then it was called Reventa RV-3).
The new development was subjected to continuous measurements of the main characteristics and tested at the NSC Institute Of Metrology. According to the results obtained, the decentralized heat recovery unit was repeatedly revised and improved. After the recovery unit passed all internal tests and showed good results, it was ready for testing in a German independent laboratory.
The final verdict of the German experts was astounding, “Excellent performance! Where can we buy your unit in Germany?”
Rebranding and online store
Some of our oldest partners still remember that earlier, the decentralized heat recovery units of the Kharkiv manufacturer were called Reventa. With the growth of production capacity and the expansion of the product pallet, as well as the entry into international markets and to eliminate similarities with other similar brands, a new brand, Ventoxx: Vital air, was established.
A lot has changed for Ventoxx LLC since then. The company has developed and brought to market eight new technological solutions for energy-saving ventilation. It has received CE and ErP certificates, participated in more than 50 exhibitions, provided ventilation for social housing projects and housing for temporarily displaced persons. Also, it registered the Ventoxx trademark and rebranded, plus opened representative offices in Germany and several European countries.
In 2019, Ventoxx was one of the first manufacturers to establish an online store of energy-efficient ventilation, allowing consumers to buy products quickly and without the cost of travel time to a sales representative. Multistage testing of any new decentralized heat recovery unit under real conditions of use and collecting data on user experience are information that has a direct impact on the future of the new model.
To guarantee really correct results to consumers, after testing new units, each heat recovery unit is tested in independent laboratories, which determine the main relevant indicators of the ventilation unit, the level of heat recovery, the volume of air replaced per unit time, the noise level that the product produces during operation at different ventilation levels, etc.
